As we celebrate Independence Day in the United States, it's
also a good time for YOU to declare YOUR independence from the
aspects of YOUR life that prevent you from being healthier and
losing weight. Here's YOUR declaration of independence;
1. Declare YOUR independence from
eating habits that are influenced or controlled by other
people. The eating habits of most people are far from healthy
and they influence YOUR eating habits. YOU will have to buck
the system if you're going to be a healthy eater and lose
weight. Rise above "normal"!
2. Declare YOUR independence from
exercise habits that are influenced or controlled by other
people. Let's face it, only a VERY small percentage of adults
exercise on a regular basis. YOU have to be different if YOU
want to be healthier and lose weight! Rise above
"normal"!
3. Declare YOUR independence from
eating fast food and junk because of time constraints. Eating
healthy takes time - plan for it. Take time each week to plan
and prepare your healthy meals. If you haven't planned and
prepared, you'll end up eating whatever's fast - and that's
usually bad news!
4. Declare YOUR independence from
not exercising because of time constraints. We all make time
for the things that are most important in our lives.
Don't put this off! Declare your independence from being
mediocre. YOU can rise above "normal" to be fit and
healthy. Get Movin'!
